A superb introduction to traditional Barbaresco and one of Piedmont’s great value fine wines. Perfumed, elegant and beautifully balanced, it pairs wonderfully with truffle pasta, braised veal, roast duck, porcini mushrooms and aged hard cheeses. Enjoy with a decant if drinking young, or cellar confidently through 2040 and beyond as it develops further complexity and nuance.
