The wine comes from Tenuta dell'Ornellaia in Bolgheri, on Tuscany's Mediterranean coast. Ornellaia is one of Italy's most internationally recognised Bordeaux-style blends, built around Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The 2021 vintage was exceptionally successful, combining a warm growing season with enough freshness to produce wines of remarkable concentration and balance.
The "La Generosità" edition is part of Ornellaia's annual Vendemmia d'Artista project, in which a different artistic theme and label design are used to celebrate the personality of the vintage.
