This big red is made in Gigondas by the Brunier brothers of Chateauneuf-du-Pape legend Vieux Telegraphe. The vineyards can be found on the steep slopes of the Dentelles de Montmirail, along with Domaine Les Pallieres’ herd of goats. From these old vines – in fact the estate’s oldest vinest – they create a blend of Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault and Clairette, which is aged for 20 months in French oak and bottled unfined and unfiltered, making it vegan friendly. Black fruit, crushed rocks, black olives, souk spices, cassis and rich silky texture, this has immense ageing potential and excellent pedigree.
