Matured for 18 months in 100% new American oak hogsheads, it offers concentrated aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry and dark cherry, accompanied by black olive tapenade, tobacco, cinnamon, dark chocolate, praline and savoury pan juices.
On the palate, it is full-bodied, expansive and deeply structured. Blackberry and mulberry are layered with black olive, dark chocolate, roasted nuts, bay leaf, pimento and exotic spice. Sleek yet granular Cabernet tannins provide exceptional shape and tension, while the powerful fruit and new oak remain polished and integrated through the long, complex finish.
