The 2023 Joh. Jos. Prüm Graacher Himmelreich Riesling Kabinett is a classic Mosel Riesling from one of Germany’s most revered estates. Sourced from the steep, slate-rich slopes of the Graacher Himmelreich vineyard, the wine exemplifies the delicacy, purity and longevity that have made J.J. Prüm a benchmark producer for more than a century. The 1.5L magnum format is ideal for extended cellaring, allowing the wine to evolve gracefully over decades.
The nose reveals white peach, green apple, lime zest and wildflowers, underpinned by distinctive slate-driven minerality. Light-bodied yet intensely expressive, the palate combines gentle sweetness with crystalline acidity, delivering flavours of citrus, orchard fruit and wet stone. The finish is long, precise and weightless, showcasing the elegance that defines great Mosel Kabinett. The 2023 vintage received 95 points from James Suckling and 93 points from both Wine Advocate and Vinous.

One of the world's great Kabinett Rieslings and a brilliant addition to any cellar. Vibrant, refreshing and incredibly versatile, it pairs beautifully with spicy Asian cuisine, fresh seafood, pork dishes and soft cheeses. Delicious now, but the magnum format will reward patience and should evolve beautifully through 2045–2055 and beyond.
