2021 Indigo Beechworth Pinot Noir

Lovely colour, is indigo. When I was a kid, I used to fill my fountain pen with Parker’s ‘Royal Blue’ ink, which was more or less indigo in colour when it dried. Strawberries and fresh mint, some spiced cedar and vanilla perfume. It’s light, sweet strawberry with some squished red fruit, a little sappy acidity, soft tannin and a moderate finish, a little earth and spice coming through. Nice to drink. Easy going
