Sharing its land with Mazoyères-Chambertin, the Charmes-Chambertin appellation prevails. Our vines thrive on clay-rich brown soils (around 40%), interspersed with lava and iron ore deposits. This unique soil composition imparts aromas of red fruit along with a distinctive opulence to the wine.
