The 2025 Dormilona Cupid Chenin Blanc is a richer, more textural expression of Chenin Blanc from Jo Perry’s organically farmed Yungarra Vineyard in Yallingup. Fermented naturally with extended lees ageing and partial barrel maturation, the wine balances ripe fruit, savoury complexity and vibrant coastal freshness. The nose shows preserved lemon, ripe pear and yellow apple alongside chamomile, beeswax, almond and subtle honeyed notes. There’s a layered saline and slightly oxidative character that adds depth and personality.
On the palate, it is medium-bodied with creamy texture, juicy orchard fruit and bright natural acidity. Generous yet fresh, with gentle lees richness and a long mineral finish giving the wine excellent balance and drinkability.

The 2025 Dormilona Cupid Chenin Blanc is a more textural and serious style of Chenin compared to the regular Dormilona bottling, offering extra depth while still retaining freshness and energy. Fantastic with roast chicken, pork, seafood pasta or washed-rind cheeses. Drink now or cellar through 2033+.
