CHATEAU DE BEAUCASTEL

Château de Beaucastel is a historic winery located in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation of France’s southern Rhône Valley. The estate’s origins trace back to 1549 when Pierre de Beaucastel purchased land in the region. Since 1909, when it's transferred, the Perrin family has managed the estate, with the fourth and fifth generations currently overseeing operations.

Château de Beaucastel’s wines are celebrated for their complexity and balance. the Châteauneuf-du-Pape wine displays pronounced aromas of ripe forest strawberry, raspberry, blackberry, blackcurrant, licorice, mint, cured meat, dried herbs, and hints of tobacco. On the palate, it is full-bodied, concentrated, and muscular, framed by polished tannins and lively acids, culminating in a savory finish.

The estate offers a range of wines, including the red and white Château de Beaucastel Châteauneuf-du-Pape, the special cuvée Hommage à Jacques Perrin, and the Roussanne Vieilles Vignes. Additionally, they produce Coudoulet de Beaucastel in both red and white, classified as Côtes du Rhône from vineyards just outside the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation.
