The 2025 Salo Yarra Valley Chardonnay is a finely textured cool-climate Chardonnay made by Steve Flamsteed and Dave Mackintosh from the Full Moon Vineyard in Gladysdale. The nose shows white peach, nectarine and citrus peel with delicate floral notes, almond and a subtle flinty mineral character.
On the palate, it is fresh and well structured with bright acidity and gentle creaminess through the mid-palate. Citrus and stone fruit are balanced by savoury, chalky notes, leading to a long, precise and mineral finish.
