The 2024 Silkman Blackberry Vineyard Semillon is a single-vineyard Hunter Valley Semillon from one of the region’s distinctive sandy creek-bed sites. The nose shows Granny Smith apple and orange peel with beeswax, dried grass and lanolin, combining youthful citrus freshness with classic Semillon complexity.
On the palate, it is energetic and layered, with concentrated citrus fruit, pronounced minerality and a finely structured acid backbone. Richer and more textural than a particularly lean Hunter Semillon, it retains excellent freshness and length, giving it strong potential to develop further in bottle.
