The 2024 Domaine Clément Lavallée Saint-Bris Les Copains d’Abord is a distinctive Sauvignon Blanc from Saint-Bris in northern Burgundy. Sourced from mature vines on a west-facing plateau, it shows gooseberry, white currant and crisp pear alongside white flowers, fresh herbs and bright citrus notes.
On the palate, it is dry, crisp and precise, with vibrant acidity bringing freshness and tension to the fruit. Indigenous yeast fermentation is followed by around 11 months on fine lees in neutral oak barrels, building texture and complexity without overwhelming the Sauvignon Blanc’s aromatic character. The finish is long, focused and mineral-driven.
