The 2024 Carousal Pinot Gris is a bright, aromatic white from Victoria’s cool-climate Alpine Valleys, made by Patrick Sullivan. Pale straw in colour, it opens with lifted aromas of red apple, pear and white nectarine alongside fresh citrus and delicate floral notes, giving the wine a clean and vibrant aromatic profile.
On the palate, it is light-bodied and crisp, with vibrant citrus, juicy stone fruit and honeysuckle supported by refreshing acidity. The fruit was whole-berry pressed before a warm fermentation, followed by three months off gross lees prior to bottling. The result is fresh and gently textural with a clean, precise finish.
