The 2023 Pio Cesare Nebbiolo Langhe DOC is a classic Piedmont red made from 100% Nebbiolo sourced from selected Langhe vineyards. The nose shows raspberry, red cherry and redcurrant, complemented by violet, subtle liquorice and gentle spice.
On the palate, it is medium-bodied with lively acidity and rounded, fine tannins supporting fresh red fruit. Fermentation and extended skin contact take place in stainless steel before ageing primarily in large French and Eastern European oak, adding structure while retaining Nebbiolo’s fragrance and freshness.
