Coming from 50% En Charlemagne west-facing in Pernand Vergelessesand 50% from Le Charlemagne which adjoins with a south facing exposition in Aloxe Corton. Just 2 barrels made with just one new oak barrel. Aged for eleven months in the barrel followed by a further seven in stainless-steel tanks.
This wine is ripe on the nose with aromas of sweet flowers, peach, and pineapple. It is concentrated in the mouth, offering breadth and a beautiful structure, followed by a precise and characterful saline finish. It is a harmonious and complex wine.
