The 2023 Naked Run BWC Shiraz is a rich and powerful single-vineyard Shiraz from Greenock in the Barossa Valley. Sourced from a low-yielding vineyard, it shows concentrated blackcurrant and ripe plum alongside roasted meat, dark chocolate, char and warm spice, delivering a classic full-flavoured expression of Barossa Shiraz.
On the palate, it is full-bodied and generous, with layers of dark fruit supported by fine, dusty tannins and a smooth, silky texture. Fermentation in small open fermenters is followed by 20 months in French and American oak barriques, adding char, spice and chocolate complexity. The finish is powerful and persistent, with dark fruit and savoury oak lingering through the palate.
