The 2023 François Labet Île de Beauté Pinot Noir is a distinctive Corsican red made from 100% Pinot Noir grown on the island’s east coast at around 400 metres altitude. The nose shows red cherry, raspberry and darker berry fruit alongside spice, earthy forest-floor notes and hints of Mediterranean herbs.
On the palate, it is light to medium-bodied with bright acidity and supple tannins. The fruit is fully destemmed, with maturation divided between tank and French oak, preserving freshness while adding gentle spice and savoury depth. The finish is clean, juicy and lightly earthy.
