The 2023 Entropy Wines Pinot Noir is a single-vineyard, cool-climate Pinot Noir from the Willow Grove Vineyard in Gippsland, Victoria. Made by Ryan Ponsford, it shows fragrant wild strawberry, red cherry and cranberry alongside rose petals, black tea, forest floor, pepper and subtle savoury spice.
On the palate, it is light to medium-bodied and finely structured, with bright red fruit, fresh acidity and fine, powdery tannins. Savoury and earthy characters provide additional complexity, while restrained oak sits quietly behind the fruit. At 13.5% alcohol, the wine retains freshness and an elegant, precise profile through the persistent finish.
