The 2023 Dandelion Vineyards Firehawk of McLaren Vale Shiraz is a concentrated single-vineyard red from Firehawk Farm, an elevated site overlooking McLaren Vale, South Australia. The certified organic and biodynamic vineyard produces a deeply aromatic Shiraz showing blueberry, blackberry, cherry and plum, layered with aniseed, black pepper, eucalyptus, clove, liquorice and earthy spice.
On the palate, it is full-bodied and generous with concentrated dark fruit, fresh acidity and structured tannins. Blackberry, mulberry and plum are complemented by black olive, liquorice, pepper and savoury notes, leading to a long, rounded and persistent finish.
