The 2022 Ornellaia La Determinazione is the 30th-anniversary limited edition of Ornellaia, created to celebrate the estate's 2022 vintage and the theme of La Determinazione ("determination"). It is a particularly collectible release, with the wine presented in a distinctive limited-edition bottle.
Ornellaia is one of the benchmark estates of Bolgheri, producing a Bordeaux-inspired blend from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The 2022 vintage was hot and dry, but careful vineyard work allowed the estate to retain freshness and produce a wine with impressive concentration and balance.
