The 2022 Massolino Barolo is a traditional Nebbiolo from Piedmont, bringing together fruit from several vineyards around Serralunga d’Alba. The nose is fragrant and expressive, showing red cherry, raspberry and dried flowers alongside white pepper, herbs and subtle spice.
On the palate, it is medium-bodied with bright acidity, fine-grained tannins and fresh red berry fruit. Traditional maturation in large oak casks gives structure without masking the Nebbiolo character, leading to a long, precise and savoury finish.
