The 2021 Peter Jakob Kühn Riesling Landgeflecht is one of the estate’s rarest and most profound wines, produced from a monopole vineyard in the Rheingau and released under the prestigious PJK.Unikat label. Farmed biodynamically and crafted with uncompromising attention to detail, the wine undergoes spontaneous fermentation and an extended 24-month maturation on full lees in large oak casks. It is a Riesling that showcases extraordinary depth, minerality and precision while remaining remarkably poised and elegant.
The nose reveals ripe peach, mirabelle plum and quince layered with notes of smoke, dried herbs, flint and subtle spice. The palate is intensely mineral and beautifully textured, with vibrant acidity driving layers of citrus, orchard fruit and saline complexity. Powerful yet refined, it finishes exceptionally long with remarkable energy, tension and a lingering mineral purity.

A world-class dry Riesling that perfectly captures the precision and ageing potential of great Rheingau terroir. Its complexity and mineral drive make it an outstanding match for lobster, scallops, turbot, pork dishes, aged alpine cheeses and refined Asian cuisine. While impressive now with decanting, this is a wine built for the cellar and will continue to evolve beautifully through 2040 and beyond.
