Sourced from Cobaw Ridge’s biodynamic vineyard at Cobaw Ridge in the northern end of the Macedon Ranges, IL Pinko is a Shiraz-based rose, although it is hard pick it as Shiraz.
Magnificent rose here. The faintest greasiness and oiliness in the most wonderful and fine sense. Just ripe cherry, pomegranate, finest tannins, cool, integrated acidity. Feels fancy. A seamless flow of the most delicious kind of rose. Textural and wonderful. – 94 points, Mike Bennie
