Quite limpid garnet colour.
Nose that will evolve throughout the tasting. At first we are more on forest fruits/cherry black fruits, with a hint of pepper, and then beautiful floral notes appear with a little more red fruit. It's neat and clean for me, who's not a fan of sulphur-free, and not particularly natural.
On the palate very light pearling at the start which will quickly disappear. The material is pleasant to hold. It's very ripe (harvested at almost 14%) we don't feel like we're on a Champagne red. The tannins are almost melted, it's quite velvety and elegant. Beautiful fruit. The length is correct. Frankly a nice Coteaux Champenois, well mastered for a first try, which leaves me a better impression than the Coteaux Champenois of Jean-Baptiste Geoffroy in its pinot Meunier version.
