The 2020 vintage was a cool one across most of Tasmania and that might have caused issues with ultimate ripeness levels, had it not been for a very windy start to the season. The wind had a dramatic effect at flowering, significantly lowering crop levels from the outset, allowing the vines to successfully ripen the reduced crop load, despite the cool conditions.
