2022 Domaine Henri Gouges Nuits-Saint-Georges Premier Cru Les Pruliers

From a 1.3 ha parcel with a mix of 80% 75+ year old vines and the remainder of 15 to 20-year-old vines. This is also ripe with an overtly sauvage character suffusing the mostly dark berry and earth nose. There is even better volume, density and power to the large-scaled and muscular flavors that conclude in a rustic, youthfully austere and ever-so-mildly warm finale. This is a classic Pruliers.
