Matured in a mix of French and Hungarian hogsheads (10% new) for a period of 10 months. Dense inky black heart with a deep dark red black hue. Elevated dark plum and liquorice aromas are followed by whiffs of blueberry, earth, vanillin cedar and spice. Plush juicy dark plum, liquorice and blueberry fruits are intertwined with spicy vanillin cedar, earthy fennel and pepper elements. Polished tannins with a long succulent blue to black fruited conclusion.
