This cooler southern site brings a more lifted and structured expression of Barossa Shiraz, with the nose revealing aromas of dark cherry, blackberry and plum layered with cracked pepper, dried herbs, leather, floral spice and subtle earthy complexity. The varied soils of clay, limestone and shale contribute additional savoury depth and mineral detail.
On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied with fine-grained tannins and vibrant acidity providing both power and precision.
