The 2019 Fowles Upton Run Riesling is a mature cool-climate Strathbogie Ranges Riesling from Victoria. The nose shows citrus blossom, orange peel and fresh stone fruit with subtle spice, while the region’s elevated granite landscape contributes freshness and definition.
On the palate, it is medium-bodied with green apple and peach flavours supported by fresh citrus acidity. With several years of bottle age, the wine is now showing a more developed expression while retaining its bright Riesling character.

At Wine More Cellars, this is an excellent choice for those who enjoy aged Australian Riesling with citrus, stone fruit and developing complexity. Drinking well now. Ideal with barramundi, grilled prawns, roast pork, fresh seafood or lightly spiced Asian dishes.
