2018 Joseph Faiveley Chambolle-Musigny

A very ripe yet not roasted nose offers up notes of poached plum, sandalwood, exotic tea and plenty of floral influences that include violet and rose petal among others. The sleek, juicy and well-delineated middle weight flavors brim with minerality that adds a certain lift to the equally firm, serious and ever-so-mildly warm finale. This too is going to require at least some patience.
