2020 Vietti Barolo Cerequio is a single-vineyard Barolo made from 100% Nebbiolo sourced from the historic Cerequio MGA, one of the most prestigious crus in the Barolo appellation. The vineyard sits around 320 m above sea level with limestone-clay soils and southern exposure, producing wines known for elegance, perfume, and depth.
Fermentation takes place in stainless steel with extended maceration, followed by malolactic fermentation in wood and ageing for roughly 30 months in large oak casks and barriques, allowing the wine to develop structure and complexity.
