Sourced from multiple parcels around the village of Verzé, it represents a more accessible yet still terroir-driven expression of Leflaive’s style, combining purity, minerality and precision.
The nose is fresh and lifted, showing lemon, pear and citrus, layered with white flowers, almond and subtle mineral notes. There is a clean aromatic profile with floral lift and a distinct slate-driven character, reflecting both the limestone soils and careful winemaking.
On the palate, it is medium-bodied with bright acidity and a smooth, balanced texture. Citrus and orchard fruit are supported by a light creamy mouthfeel and mineral backbone, leading to a long, clean and elegant finish. The 2021 vintage shows a slightly leaner, more precise style due to challenging growing conditions, emphasising freshness and structure.
