The Boisson winemaking family (made up of Bernard and his children Anne and Pierre) farms a few different plots of vineyards throughout the Cote de Beaune, including two in the communes of Orches and Baubigny (just outside of Meursault) that grow the grapes for this snappy little red Burgundy.
They have a "no rush" approach in the winery, with slow ferments and a hands-off attitude. After hand-picking and fermentation, the wine is aged in French oak, with about 20% of that being new oak.
Super crunchy, with all of the terroir you'd expect from an old-school Burgundian producer.
