This Aligote from cult producer, Pierre Boisson, is crafted with only old vine fruit, with the majority of the vines being between 50 to 70 years old.
It's a bright, expressive wine full of citrus zip, white peaches and an undercurrent of minerality. Perfectly balanced in the mouth, it just flows across the tongue effortlessly.
Aligote might be considered the "other" white grape of Burgundy, but this wine shows it shouldn't be overlooked for its cousin Chardonnay.
