Circulus favours a restrained Syrah style rather than the richer expression often associated with warmer Australian regions.
On the palate, it is medium-bodied with fresh acidity, fine tannins and concentrated blue and black fruit. Cold soaking and whole-berry fermentation in open-top fermenters build texture and complexity, while oak maturation supports the fruit without dominating it.
