The 2022 Dalwhinnie Three Valleys Pinot Noir brings together fruit from Tasmania’s Huon, Derwent and Coal River Valleys. Fragrant and detailed, it shows red cherry, red plum and pomegranate with five-spice, star anise, ginger tea and subtle earthy notes. The three cool-climate sites contribute perfume, structure and fruit concentration to the blend.
On the palate, it is medium-bodied with a silky texture, fresh acidity and fine tannins. Cherry and plum fruit are layered with savoury herbs and gentle spice, leading to an elegant, persistent finish. Halliday Wine Companion awarded the 2022 vintage 93 points.
