A cool spring in 2022 lead to a smaller than average harvest in 2023. However conditions from late January onwards were dry and warm, resulting in a late harvest, but with supple and ripe fruit.
The nose is lifted and aromatic, with floral notes of dried rose petals, blood oranges and ferric earth. The palate is medium-bodied and well balanced with finely integrated tannins, giving notes of black tea leaves, red currants and spices.
