2021 Bindi Block 5 Pinot Noir

Which is rather a shame as the vines are now over 30 years old and the Block 5 site is producing more beautiful wines than ever. The 2021 is very pure in red berries, particularly vivid raspberry, cherry and wild strawberry. There are, as usual, darker berry and spice notes. It’s a floral wine with darker, more mineral elements. Classic Block 5! It is both rich and vibrant with tremendous freshness, strength, density and length. The mid to end palate is tight and long and driven. History tells us this wine will be at its peak in around 15 years time.
