The 2022 Bindi Dixon Pinot Noir is a beautifully perfumed and approachable Pinot Noir from Bindi in Victoria’s Macedon Ranges. The wine is composed of selected fruit from sections of Bindi’s Original Vineyard, planted in 1988, and the Kaye vineyard, planted in 2001. Michael Dhillon produces Dixon with the same philosophy as Bindi’s more prestigious single-vineyard Pinot Noirs, using predominantly destemmed fruit fermented in small open vats before maturation in French oak. The 2022 opens with lifted aromas of red and black cherry, wild strawberry, earth and spice.
