The region’s long, cool growing season allows the variety to develop intense aromatics while retaining remarkable freshness. The nose is fragrant and lifted, revealing aromas of lime zest, lemon rind and green apple alongside delicate notes of orange blossom, jasmine and wet stone minerality.
On the palate, it is light-bodied yet beautifully textured, with vibrant natural acidity driving flavours of citrus, Granny Smith apple and ripe pomelo. Subtle notes of passionfruit, talc and mineral complexity add depth, while maturation in large Austrian oak foudres contributes a silky texture without overshadowing the wine’s purity.
