Totally opaque ink black wine in the glass, the aromatics are dense, intense, complex, savoury and spicy, with a volley of violet/spring blossom florals popping over the top.
The palate is dominated by big velvety pillows of fruit, which are masking substantial foundations of submerged tannins.
This is a big, but elegant, ‘depth-charge’ of high country Shiraz.
Cellar under the right condition with confidence for up to 15-20 years.
