Fermented with whole berries and whole bunches, gentle extraction. Matured in old large format oak. Blended and bottled July 2025.
Another bouncy and fruity wine with some extract and punchy cordial like notes. Red toffee apple, raspberries and cherry syrup. Tannins are very powdery, they almost stick to the tongue and acidity is high and mighty. The friendly nature of potent fruit, means this is a Sangiovese that won’t scare anyone away but more draw you in with enticing fruit and before long you’ll be seeking out the wines with firmer structure. For that I really commend it. A wonderful wine for paprika based spicy cured meats. - 92 points, Shanteh Wale
