The 2024 Commune of Buttons Nebbiolo Rosato is a vibrant, textural rosé from Jasper Button and Sophie Thomson, made from organically farmed Adelaide Hills Nebbiolo. Crafted with a minimal-intervention approach, the wine captures Nebbiolo’s natural perfume, bright acidity and gentle savoury grip in a fresh, highly drinkable style. The nose shows wild strawberry, blood orange and raspberry alongside rose petal, fresh herbs and subtle spice. There’s a lifted floral perfume and lightly savoury edge that gives the wine plenty of energy and character.
On the palate, it is light to medium-bodied with juicy red fruit, bright acidity and fine chalky texture. Fresh, crunchy and dry, with a gently bitter orange-rind finish that makes the wine incredibly food friendly.

The 2024 Commune of Buttons Nebbiolo Rosato is a seriously refreshing modern rosé — somewhere between Italian rosato and lo-fi Adelaide Hills energy. More savoury and textural than simple fruit-driven rosé styles while still remaining dangerously easy to drink. Perfect well chilled with charcuterie, seafood, pizza or sunny afternoon drinking.
