2025 Gentle Folk Village Pinot Noir

The 'Villages' release of Pinot is sourced from Gentle Folk's high elevation vineyards spanning across the Adelaide Hills, including Monomeith, Uraidla, Piccadilly, Summertown, Little Creek, Basket Range, Scary Gully & Charleston. Most of the soil here is light loamy clay over sandstone with extensive schist & quartz rubble with the vines ranging from 5-37 years old.

The fruit is organically grown and gently hand harvested to preserve quality. Most of the cuvée was from a 3 week open-top fermentation of 80% destemmed, with a much smaller inclusion of 100% whole cluster. The wine was aged for 8 months in French barrique, 15% of which was new. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.
