The 2025 Henschke Percival’s Mill Grüner Veltliner is a cool-climate Adelaide Hills white from Henschke’s Lenswood Vineyard, planted on ancient grey shale soils at around 550 metres elevation. The nose shows white peach, pear and grapefruit with orange blossom, jasmine, ginger and fresh green herbs, giving it a fragrant yet distinctly savoury varietal character.
On the palate, it is fresh and finely textured with lively acidity supporting nectarine, lemon and lime. Green peppercorn, marjoram and subtle chalky notes add savoury complexity and gentle grip. Fermentation in tank preserves the delicate aromatics and freshness, leading to a long, crisp and well-defined finish.
