The 2025 Domaine Gérard Tremblay Chablis is a classic Chardonnay from Chablis in northern Burgundy. Produced from vines averaging around 20 years of age, it shows fresh green apple and citrus alongside white flowers, subtle orchard fruit and the chalky mineral character associated with the region.
On the palate, it is dry, fresh and finely balanced, with lively acidity giving definition to crisp fruit flavours. Malolactic fermentation brings a slightly rounder texture, while maturation for approximately 6–12 months in stainless steel preserves freshness and aromatic purity. The finish is clean, saline and mineral-driven.
Ben’s Recommendation:
At Wine More Cellars, this is an excellent choice for Chablis drinkers who enjoy fresh, elegant Chardonnay with bright acidity, clean fruit and mineral character. Best enjoyed young for its freshness, though short-term cellaring can add further complexity. Ideal with oysters, prawns, grilled fish, scallops, roast chicken or fresh goat’s cheese.
