The 2025 Domaine Gérard Tremblay Petit Chablis is a fresh and lively Chardonnay from the Chablis region of northern Burgundy. Grown on stony clay-limestone soils, it shows bright grapefruit and citrus alongside green apple, white flowers, fresh herbs and subtle mineral notes.
On the palate, it is dry, light and energetic, with crisp acidity giving definition to citrus and orchard fruit. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation take place under controlled temperatures, followed by around six months of maturation in stainless steel. The absence of oak keeps the wine focused on freshness and primary fruit, leading to a crisp, clean and persistent finish.
Ben’s Recommendation:
At Wine More Cellars, this is an excellent choice for Chardonnay drinkers looking for a fresh, approachable introduction to Chablis. Its bright acidity, clean fruit and mineral character make it particularly versatile with food. Best enjoyed young for its freshness. Ideal with oysters, prawns, smoked salmon, grilled fish, fresh salads or goat’s cheese.
