The 2022 Kaesler Age of Light Cabernet Sauvignon is a flagship Barossa Valley red, crafted only in exceptional vintages from the winery’s best parcel of Cabernet and produced in extremely limited quantities. Aged for 18 months in French oak barriques, it represents a refined and powerful expression of warm-climate Cabernet with structure and longevity. The nose is deep and complex, showing cassis, blackberry and mulberry, layered with notes of cedar, tobacco, violet and subtle spice.
On the palate, it is full-bodied with a silky, flowing texture and finely structured tannins. Concentrated dark fruit, savoury nuances and integrated oak are balanced by fresh acidity, leading to a long, polished and persistent finish. At Wine More Cellars, this is a premium Barossa Cabernet for collectors and serious wine drinkers. It’s impressive now with decanting but will evolve beautifully over time. Drink from 2025 or cellar for 15–20+ years. Perfect with roast lamb, steak or rich, slow-cooked dishes.
