A tremendous 2018 vintage of Allegrini's exceptional Amarone. Produced from grapes that have been air-dried and then fermented, Amarone doesn't have the sweetness usually associated with this process, instead boasting a rich, dry profile, with boldly concentrated flavour. Combining Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, and Oseleta grape varieties from the Valpolicella region of Italy that have been naturally dried for three to four months, this expression from Allegrini is a masterful example of the style.
