2020 Domaine Olivier Merlin Pouilly Fuisse Vieilles Vignes

The fruit here comes from some well-situated parcels of old vines, mostly in the village of Chaintre. The style is slightly fresher and more elegant than before. The nose offers a charming floral character, with notes of hawthorn and some pleasing white stone-fruit. There’s a hint of vanilla oak, good mid-palate weight and a taut, precise finish.
